CCGA Devil Ball Tournament Results
Saturday
April 23, 20116 The CCGA finally completed the annual Devil Ball Tournament
after two previous postponements due to unsuitable weather. We had 22 players
participate in this year’s event. This one was difficult as the two undesired
postponements took its toll on participation. We had three No-Shows who had
signed up previously and 5 other members who withdrew their names due to other commitments
on the final date of the tournament.
Tournament Results
We had $264.00 from entry fees to dish out in prize money and an additional $41.50 in 50/50 ticket sales. Was a great day for golf depending on who you asked (not me). Everyone had fun and enjoyed the day that was capped off with a nice lunch for just "Five Bucks" prepared by Stephen Divine.

We want to give a big thanks to Gene Lockwood that always puts in a great effort showing up to collect the entry fees, sell 50/50 ticket and contributes in some picture taking. Lee Lamp who stepped in to make everything go smoothly in our presentation and score keeping. Stephen Divine for the great Deli sandwich lunch. Finally, how about those great Devil Balls?
