for Kids Christmas Charity Tournament

This year’s tournament was an outstanding effort for us in
that we had 29 participants play in the golf tournament. The day was perfect
for golf weather wise. The course was wet and even muddy in places however it
didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of charitable group in attendance. It was a
day filled with fun and good cheer. The free Christmas Lunch put on by the
Churn Creek Golf Association was taken in by 50 appreciative people comprising
of members and their friends and family. We only had a few who signed up but
decided not to attend who I’m sure had good reason as I am also sure they
missed out on a super event.
We will be accepting toys, cash donation and or food for the
needy families through December 10th.
Results
This year we did not take pictures of those that won cash
prizes in the tournament as it was felt that everyone in attendance were all winners
in our book.
