CCGA 2016
Fall River Trip
The CCGA 2016 Travel Trip was the lowest turnout in recent
history with just 15 players. It was a beautiful day for golf at Fall River as
the temperature was not super-hot and the usual winds did not kick up until
that last couple of holes. The cash payout were limited because of the low
turnout, however we did manage to pay for closest to the pins on all 4 par threes
and Low Gross, Low net and 2nd Low net. Closest to the pins were Shawn Baird on
#11and #15, and Tom Baird on #8. The highlight was Tom Phillips sinking the 35
ft putt that held up for closest to the pin on #4 hole for a birdie!
Larry Andrews was Low Gross winner with an 87, Jim Dickerson
for Low Net with a Net 73 and Ron Howell for 2nd Low net 74. Was a
lot of fun and if you missed it you missed a lot!
